Janakpuri
Established on 28 January 1984 in D Block, Janakpuri. Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated here with great fervour every year. On Sharadiya and Vasantik Navratri, Durga Stuti path, Kanya Pujan and a grand bhandara are organised, and the auspicious festival of Annakoot is celebrated with festive spirit and a large bhandara. Holi Mangal Milan is observed, and Shivratri is marked with Char Prahar Pujan (worship across all four watches of the night). Chhabeel (a cooling drink stall) is set up on Nirjala Ekadashi. From time to time, scholars conduct weekly discourses on Shri Ram Katha, Srimad Bhagwat, Shiv Purana and other scriptures. Health check-up camps are organised periodically, and needy children are provided free copies, pencils, jerseys, school dresses and other essentials.
